Shane Aspegren is a somatic sound facilitator and embodied integration coach, and the founder of ONDO Holistic in Los Angeles. In session, he works with live vibrational instruments — Himalayan singing bowls, meditation gongs, tuning forks, and voice — placed on and around the body and played responsively, following what the nervous system is doing rather than a fixed program.
His foundation is thirty years as a professional musician, composer, and multidisciplinary artist, performing internationally and recording across dozens of albums. That background is the reason the sound is live rather than recorded: decades spent listening for what a room and a body need in the moment, now brought into medicine settings. Alongside it sits more than fifteen years of formal study — trauma-informed somatic training, psychedelic facilitation, vibrational therapy, 500+ hours of yoga teacher certification, and long practice across various meditation traditions.
His work is grounded in nervous system awareness and relational safety: unhurried, non-directive, and paced by the person rather than the practitioner. Insight alone rarely creates change — experiences need time, support, and a body given somewhere to land.
At Pala Medicine, Shane collaborates as a somatic sound facilitator for individual and group ketamine sessions. He also offers preparation and integration coaching — relational, conversation-based work, with somatic and sound practices woven in where they serve — to help what opens during a session settle into daily life.
